Ti Fa - Recycled Tin Horn
 
Made from recycled tin roofing, the Ti Fa is the smallest horn in the Haitian Rara orchestra, playing the musical note “fa.” Its bright, punchy sound is essential to the rhythmic energy of Rara music. There are 12 total notes in the Rara Orchestra. 
 
Rara bands are vibrant Haitian street ensembles that come alive during the Easter season, filling the streets with infectious rhythms. Musicians march for miles, inviting locals to join the celebration through music, dance, and community spirit.
